First, Happy Veteran’s Day to my Dad, brother Harold, the MANY service persons that I know & those around the world…THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!
Second, my Dad & Mini Me are celebrating their birthday’s on November 16th. I’m big on birthdays, especially since she’s turning 11. So, to jump off the occasion, I took Hannah & her bestie to lunch. We went to an all-you-can-eat buffet, on purpose, so I could get a variety of veggies & meats. OF COURSE…my archenemies: white rice/fried rice/lo mein/cookies/cake were staring me right in the face!!
I looked at them, they looked at me & I kept it moving!!! If anyone knows me…they know I LOVE RICE!! However, I didn’t go there & I count it as a victory!! Thank You Lord! Now, let me fully disclose, I did eat 4 wingettes & 1 fried scallop…lol! But, I didn’t indulge in my historical pattern…YAASSSSS!!! YEP!! Another day without pasta/rice/sweets, equals to another check in the win column for me!!
So: 25 Push ups, 120 squats (WOOOHOO!), 8000 steps (so far) = 3.00 miles & 20 mins of high activity!!! 72 oz H2O, 4 servings of fruit/veggies, 3 meals, I didn’t track calories closely, but I’m pretty sure I’m close to target.
