I had an interesting Monday. I the day started feeling strong because of the decision I made to discard the bread from a sausage, egg, & cheese croissant (the reason I was eating it in the first place is irrelevant…lol). I felt empowered!! I had fruit to help fill in that carb void. My lunch was simple, rotisserie chicken & salad. BUT around 3:00 pm, I got hit with this desire for wings (the fried kind)!! UGGGH! I turned that desire over & over in my head, until I didn’t want to eat anything.
I paced back & forth in the kitchen…opening & closing the refrigerator expecting to see some wings magically appear. I snacked on peanut butter & sunflower seeds (yep, not the normal fun food), to shake the fried monster and to stop stalking the refrigerator. Around 8:00, I finally gave in to more chicken (not the fried kind) & veggies…it was tough!! NEVERTHELESS…another check goes in the win column for me!!
So: 25 push-ups, 45 squats, 10,318 steps = 4.03 miles & 49 minutes of high activity!!! 64 oz H2O, 9 servings of fruit/veggies, 4 meals, within caloric intake target. BOOM!!
